IAMS Meeting on February 11th at 7 pm

Lauren and Josh Nordberg are hosting our Island Mom and Dads meeting this month. Please join us at their home at 5351 Diamond Place NE. 

They are the second driveway on the left, a green split-level with red shutters and a white Honda pilot in the driveway.

They are pretty easy to get to as they are a few houses down from Rebecca Rockefeller so many people will already know where they are!

Please bring a appetizer or beverage of your choice. Feel free to park in the driveway or on the street!

January IAMS Meeting on the 14th at 7 pm

Koji and I will be hosting our first IAMS meeting of 2014 at our home on Tuesday, January 14th at 7 pm.  We look forward to chatting with you all and discussing ways that we can help our community to embrace our children. Please bring an appetizer or beverage of your choice. We live at 1169 Wing Point Way, just off of Ferncliff on the downslope before a cedar fence on the right side. There is parking on the street. 

IAMS Annual Holiday Party Dec. 3rd

JUNE IAMS Meeting

Andrea is graciously hosting our IAMS meeting this month. We will be meeting are her home on Sunday, June 30th at 7 pm. Please bring either an appetizer or beverage of choice. She lives just two driveways up from me on Wing Point Way. Her address is 1125 Wing Point Way. Parking could be tight. You could carpool or park at my house if need be. 

Sensory Sunday at KiDiMu: reserve your spot

Last month was the kick off for the first Sensory Sunday at KidiMu. It was a huge success. 36 people showed up ages 3 to 15. Everyone had a great time. I especially enjoyed seeing the older kids enjoying themselves so much. It was a great opportunity for families to connect and even enjoy some adult conversation. The staff at KiDiMu is awesome and Kerry and Jaclyn from the UW Autism Center were playing right along with the kids.

Sensory Day at Kids Discovery Museum

This is an opportunity for children and families with autism. Sensory Sundays will take place on the fourth Sunday of every month.  We are starting small and will grow the program in the months following.
